Terms & Conditions

Members are advised that no refunds will be given under any circumstances.

Hours of Opening and Closures
Standard opening times are advertised in the studio, subject to change. Members will be notified of such changes by means of the studio noticeboard, and the termly Members’ newsletter.

The studio is closed on national holidays and Bank Holidays, including the period between Christmas and New Year. Should the studio need to be closed at short notice, we will endeavour to notify you at the earliest possible opportunity using the contact details provided in your Client Questionnaire form.

My Time Membership Packages
All My Time Memberships are for a specified number of Pilates sessions, to be used during the contracted 12-month period.

Expiry of Membership
Your Membership will expire when you complete your specified number of sessions or after 12 months, whichever is sooner. When your Membership expires, we will contact you to renew it, or you can renew it yourself online.

Unused Sessions
If you do not complete your specified number of sessions within 12 months, any unused sessions will be lost.

Cancellation of Booked Sessions
24 hours’ notice is required to cancel a studio session (MyTime, 1-to-1 Pilates, Duet, Initial Assessment). If you miss a session without notice, or cancel a session less than 24 hours in advance, we will consider that session 'used' and you will be charged. For all classes (including live-streamed online classes and Reformer classes), at least 6 hours notice is required to cancel.

Payment Methods
Membership fees become due on the date you join Pilates Place. Pay for your My Time Membership in instalments by subscription. Throughout your 12 month membership, we will automatically take a monthly payment from your credit or debit card. Each monthly payment is part-payment of the total annual Membership fee. If you prefer you may pay in full and receive a discount:

Single Payment Option

5% discount on My Time Membership if the annual total is paid in advance.

Joint Membership

10% discount on duplicate membership packages purchased by two adults residing at the same address.

NB. Only one discount can be applied per Membership.

Cancelling your Membership
To terminate your Membership, please provide written notice (either by letter or by email) one month in advance of the last payment date.

Missed Classes and Sessions

Private and 1-to-1 Sessions (including Starter Package and Duet)
Sessions that have been paid for will be considered 'used' if they are not completed within 12 months of purchase. If you are unable to complete your Membership, we can issue a voucher which you can use on other services or products, or gift to someone else, for an admin fee of £25.

Missed Mat, Barre and Reformer Classes
Missed classes can be made up in other classes within the 12 week term, space permitting.

Pilates Place reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions as it sees fit, and Members shall observe any amended or additional terms and conditions so made.

Training & CPD
The course fee has to be paid in full upon booking. No refund will be given if you fail to attend the course. Transfers to other courses are offered in the event that you are unable to attend. In the unlikely event that the Pilates Place had to cancel or reschedule a course a full refund will be made.

Unless otherwise stated, arrival time for all Pilates teacher training and CPD workshops and courses is 9:00am to start at 9:30am. There will be a lunch break of 1 hour and two 20-minute breaks at mid-morning and afternoon.

All courses include a handout and attendance certificate.

We do not share our customers' data with any third party. We store and manage our customer data in a secure database that complies with the new GDPR regulations.
